Vintage Corelle by Corning 33-Piece Dining Set in Butterfly Gold Pattern. Description: Gold Flowers & Butterflies. Designed by Gregory Mirow. Manufactured: 1970 – 2002. All pieces are extremely clean, bright, & glossy. No chips, cracks or other damage – some pieces may have minor utensil marks. This set includes 35 items. 8 Dinner Plates. 8 Soup/Cereal Bowls. Holds approximately 18 oz. 1 Vegetable Serving Bowl. 8 Saucers (for C-Handle Flat Coffee/Teacups). 8 Opal-ware C-Handle Flat Coffee/Teacups. Holds approximately 6 oz. Made in Corning, NY, USA. 2 Wooden Salad Serving Spoons (Brand New). FEATURES OF THIS SET. Corelle dishes are made of Vitrelle, a glass laminate of three thermally-bonded glass layers. The outer layers are clear glass, while the inner layer is opaque white, making the dishes strong, lightweight, durable, and highly resistant to chips/cracks. They are ultra-hygienic, non-porous and easy-to-clean. Plates and bowls stack compactly, taking up half the space of ceramic dishes.
