Rare Vintage Corning Ware – L’Echalote. Here’s a story for you. This piece was passed on to me from my Grandparents. They immigrated from Austria to the US in 1952 and lived a beautiful life here, building a family and a business. Many others listed don’t have a gold stamp on the bottom and instead have more refined stamps under the handles for editions created in the 1980’s and 1990’s. This is an early example of the pattern before it was big. This piece remained in use (at the same house) until they both passed in 2019. My Grandmother loved cooking for her family with fresh food, much of which was sourced on their property. It’s not in perfect condition. It’s in “this piece was lovingly used for 47 years by the same women for the same family” condition. I didn’t scrub to make it look like something it’s not. This is not a flea market/thrift store find that I’m trying to flip. You can see the verified notes in the listing. You can also see I have 100% feedback, and my account was opened in 2000. If you have any questions, let me know. Thank you for your time and interest. Check my other listings for a few more pieces.
