Item is new in the package. This is a VERY RARE item, especially to be found unused. Without being able to find the exact year of production through research, Corningware confirmed that the box design is late 1970 to early 1980. Due to the age, I opened the box to ensure that all pieces were present and intact. It was repacked with all cardboard inserts to stay safe in transit.
