Rare Vintage Corning Ware Spice of Life collection producedbetween 1970 – 1975. This the La Marjolaine 2 Quart with the Pyrex Lid. Used gently & lovingly for years. It has fed dozens of people, held many wonderful recipes & was a part of so many great memories. Let ourjoy be felt by the next owner. This piece is unique in itself. These things were built to last. The beautiful image of a Tomato, Mushrooms, Artichokes, Onions and Shallots is on both sides. On the handle it is stamped: Corning Ware A-2-B Corning, NY. This collection is safe for: Range – Oven – Microwave. La Marjolaine is a French word that translates to Marjoram whichis a culinary herb first cultivated in the Mediterranean region. It has manyuses and positive results on the human body. The leaves can be dried and used fortea or ground and used for cuisine. It belongs in the Lamianceae family, meaning it’s relate to Mint & other herbs from the Mediterranean. Marjoramis cold sensitive perennial herb with a sweet pine & citrus flavor.
