Up For sale is a rare Vintage Corning Ware Casserole Dish blue Cornflower oven timer. The 60 minute timer spins and ticks and the timer bell does work, though it’s not very loud. It’s in good condition overall with only some minor wear. Definitely a must have for any Corning Ware collector to add in thier kitchen. Has rare 1972-79 hologram make and model number stamp on bottom. The number 6 after La Marjolaine. Pyrex lid with model number. Made in the USA. This AUTHENTIC, MADE IN THE USA, vintage, one owner, La Marjolaine(6) casserole dish, with the iconic Spice of Life pattern, is a rare find. The ceramic glass material and 2 quart capacity make it perfect for cooking and serving your favorite dishes. The dish is a vintage original from the 1960s and 1970s, with the model number A-2-B. It has been well-preserved and is in excellent shape, ready for use or display. Add this unique piece to your collection of decorative cookware, dinnerware, and serve ware. The owner of this item is 90 year old Helga Bregler. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany on June 16, 1934. Born in Nazi Germany to Theresa Bruckmeier (home maker) and her Father Ernst Bregler who was KIA, he was an Artillery Officer in the German Army. After the brutal war, she married an American GI and moved to the St Louis, Missouri area in 1952. She became an American citizen by 1960. Very lightly used, Helga does not remember using the set after 1974. She remembers this date because in 1974, Helga and her 4 year old son moved to Stuttgart, Germany for 2 years before returning to the states. The item has not been used and has been in storage since.
